“Going” to Church

Eating lunch and watching church. We are so thankful to be able to “attend” church this way!

Fun Fact Friday: Food Delivery!

Our city recently added the restriction of no driving private vehicles so people have become even more dependent on delivery services. This photo only shows a portion of the many motorcycles parked and waiting outside this fast food chain for picking up orders for delivery. We are so grateful we live in a place that has this option — not necessarily the McD’s option, but the option of delivery!

Watching Spring Unfold

I am grateful for the fact that even though we are “stuck inside” for the time being, I have been able to watch spring slowly unfold from the safety of our balcony. I love to see the various shades of green and be reminded of the stages of growth we all go through. This feels a bit like a “pruning” time in my life—but I am embracing it, knowing new growth follows!

Fun Fact Friday: Construction Zone

Broken up sidewalks at the local market area were no cause for alarm, especially with these sturdy “bridges” in place. The fact that there was some semblance of “caution” around the area is a recent and welcomed development. Typically, you’re expected to navigate such areas without warning and at your own risk. This aspect of personal responsibility has definitely made us more aware of our surroundings as we walk the streets of our city.

He is Risen!

Happy Easter! This holiday may look much different than other years, but the meaning remains: Christ is RISEN and He LIVES! May the love of the Lord wrap warmly around you like sunshine today.

Spring and Allergies

Signs of spring are popping up everywhere in our city, and with it comes a season of allergies. Please pray for this next stretch of time, as having sneezing attacks due to allergies is not well received during this Coronavirus scare!

Fix Your Eyes

What are you thankful for right now? Maybe something as simple as a vase of flowers?
“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians 4:8

Prayer Point: Jesus As Our Intermediary

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.” – Ezekiel 37:5

May the people know Jesus as our intermediary.
