Sometimes I find myself feeling frustrated about a situation, and looking to my own power to solve the problem–anyone else? Recently, I was lamenting over the fact that some local drug dealers had resumed activity in the parking lot outside of our home. The Holy Spirit gave me a gentle shake–“You have the power of Christ in you.”
He turned my lamenting into sweeping–yes, sweeping. I started sweeping the parking lot and praying, sweeping and praying. Walking the parking lot–walking and praying and anointing the boundaries of the parking lot with oil and more prayers. After several days, they left. I have only seen one or two of the guys return since that time, but they haven’t stayed. And, in God’s generosity, He taught me a bonus lesson through one of my girls who lovingly suggested that I should also be praying for healing and restoration for the men involved. Praise God for His power and patience with me!

Lessons learned well and results you will never know. Prayers for the ministry and prayer for those men. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing this. What a great example for us all of how we should be sensitive to and respond to the HS (and our kids).
