In our new language, the word for heavy is also used to mean that something is hard. This struck me as one of the young members of our team commented that religion here seems, “heavy on the people.”
Pray with us that the people here will understand what is said in Matthew 11:29-30, “Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
