We tried to go on a lunch date, couldn’t find a place to park, had to turn around, and ended up with a flat tire. After all of that, we realized that there was no tire iron where the manual said it should be–in fact, there wasn’t one anywhere in the vehicle. Unsure what to do next, (and realizing that our car parts vocabulary needs some work), a man came walking by. Now, we didn’t know if he would heed our request for help, but he did that and more. He climbed a steep hill–twice–to get the right sized tire iron. He then proceeded to change the tire for us.
Once again, our Father showed that He provides help right when we need it. This man helped us in a practical way, but he unknowingly encouraged our hearts–a good and perfect gift from above. We thanked God for him, and pray that he was encouraged too.
