We recently spent a snowy day with one of our English students at a sledding hill. Several team kids were running up and down the hill, while we stood at the bottom and talked. It was fun to hear his memories of riding on the same hill as a kid years ago. We worked on conversing in our “weak” languages, and I found myself grateful for friendships that are safe places to make mistakes as we learn!
