Returning from home assignment to GM means finding a new place to live. Finding a new place to live can be an adventure in and of itself, but when your new landlord family owns a rafting company—it’s doubly so! We were able to accept an invitation to raft before school started, and it was a lot of fun. This mountain river runs wild in early spring and summer, but by late August it slows to a family-friendly speed. While a couple of us opted to stay shoreside, those who went enjoyed amazing mountain views and a lot of excitement on this river journey.
