His Sheep

IMG_4936

“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” (Mt. 25:31-32) Pray with us that the people here would come to know Him as their savior & be counted among His sheep.

Smoothing Our Rough Edges

On a recent trip to the sea, we collected beautiful sea glass. As I felt the smoothness of each treasure (formerly discarded, broken glass), I was reminded of the refinement that God takes us through as we journey with Him. “See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction” Isaiah 48:10. Though the process can be painful, and we may at times feel tossed by the waves of life, the end result is beautiful–for we are becoming more and more like Him.

Prayer Point: Fruit

Grapevines like this can be found all over our city–though this one looks old & withered– it still has fruit! John 15 reminds us of the fruit we can produce, when we enjoy an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father.

IMG_3412“Lord, may we remain in you, as you remain in us, so we can produce much fruit– and may we always be willing to be pruned so we can produce even more fruit for your glory- amen!”

Bearing Burdens
