I’m not much of a gardener, but I want to be. I set out to have a garden on my back patio, and I imagined that I would have baskets and baskets of tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and spinach by the end of the summer! I even thought I’d get enough pumpkins so each child on the team could come and pick their own. Um… I have picked a tomato and a zucchini. My plants are done….that’s it.
I got to thinking about the “harvest” here. This isn’t exactly how I thought my experience overseas would look. As I type, I’m a part of a small group, where we are discussing the Bible. We were hoping for 7-8 people. We have 2. God has been good and these are the two He has chosen for this chapter. We are moving forward with faith that His harvest is in His hands. We also believe that the harvest is moved by prayer – will you continue to pray that God will grow the harvest here?
