My Word Will Not Return Empty

It’s a little hard to tell, but this picture was taken during a thunderstorm. We have been getting a lot of rain lately and during this particular nighttime downpour, the Lord brought to mind Isaiah 55:10 – 11, which says:

“As the rain and the snow
    come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
    without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

These words are such an encouragement to my heart in this season. I pray they uplift yours too.

  1. YES Lord Jesus may that be the case! Every text, every call, every Zoom, every opportunity to share the gospel would would yield seeds that bear fruit!

  2. Thank you! Blessings
