Lots of bike rides and walks and connections with neighbors. Thankful for my first real hair cut in months.

We have found new friendships with our neighbors since being quarantined. We are allowed to meet in our driveway for prayer once a week and what a blessing this has been. We are truly getting to know our neighbors a little more each week. We are a retired community and our church has been closed. This a tremendous blessing. Getting really into God’s word has been bringing change in me that I didn’t know was there and needed changed.

Walking the dog, extended times of prayer and Bible study, zoom meetings, helping a grandson with homework, distributing food to people who are struggling…

Our lives have not changed too much except wearing masks every where we go to grocery or pharmacy stores. Robert is an essenticial worker part time at a nursing home in New Hampton, IA. So he has continued to work. But He has to change his clothes & leave work clothes there for them to wash, have temperature taken before and after work. His work at Mcdonalds, Charles City, IA maintenance on weekends just added wearing masks. Most frustrating for him is drive up window banking! He likes to go in the bank to do his banking after his paychecks are automatically deposited to an account! We are healthy and pray we continue that way!
